Special education teaching students with individual special needs in targeted support classes.
Our Special Education classes cater to students with cognitive, physical and sensory disabilities. We also cater to students diagnosed with Autism or mental health issues. The classes program to students' individual needs and used Board of Studies syllabuses to enable students to receive formal qualification for their age and ability level. If students are able to complete courses in the mainstream a combination of syllabi can create a program that reflects the special areas of interest and high achievement levels in specific subjects.
Students in the special education classes join into the whole school activities such as sport, carnivals, camps, assemblies, roll call and year group extra-curricular programs.
